How K and T Control Accuracy
Luna’s equations are Fourier sums: x(t) = Σ ak·cos(2πfkt). K is how many terms. T is how long we observe before extracting them. Both independently improve accuracy, but they do different things.
K (Harmonics) — Orbital Detail
Each term captures one frequency. Low K gets the big motions. High K resolves subtle planetary perturbations.

T (Time Horizon) — Frequency Resolution
Minimum resolvable separation = 1/T Hz. Short T blurs close frequencies. Long T separates them.

You Own Your Output
Every tier — including Free — gets full rights to generated .swv files, CSV data, and XLSX exports. Distribute them, embed them in software, publish them in papers, ship them in games, sell them to clients. No restrictions, no attribution required.
Tiers gate generation (K, T, seats, custom bodies), not use. Once you have the file, it’s yours forever — even if your subscription lapses.
FAQ
Why annual only?
Orbital mechanics users plan in years. Annual subscriptions reduce churn and simplify billing. The product is “generate equations for the year” — annual fits naturally.
What happens to my .swv files if I cancel?
They’re yours forever. Offline evaluation works without a subscription. You just can’t generate new files above the Free tier limits.
Can I use Free tier for research papers?
Yes. All tiers allow published research. You own the output data.
What’s the difference between Pro Personal and Pro Business?
Same K/T limits. Business adds 10 seats and a commercial license for organizations under $100K revenue. Education (schools, universities, labs) is included in Business.
Do I need Enterprise for serious work?
No. Pro at K=10,000, T=20yr gives 5 km Moon accuracy — that’s genuinely navigation-grade. Enterprise is for unlimited bodies, custom configurations, and API access.
Which platforms support which tiers?

Website, Windows, Linux: Free + Pro + Enterprise (via Stripe).
Enterprise is website-only — not available on the App Store.
